Meet Kerry

Hey, I'm Kerry! I'm a dog trainer and Separation Anxiety specialist based in Peebles, Scottish Borders. I strongly believe that dog training should be fear and force free. All of my methods are based on the latest scientific evidence and are kind, humane and effective. 

 

Before starting Out of the Woods Dog Training and specialising in Separation Anxiety,  I spent 3 years working as a Dog Training Instructor for Hearing Dogs for Deaf People in Edinburgh and have proudly trained over 30 Assistance Dogs. My time spent at Hearing Dogs makes me particularly experienced with Cockapoos, Spaniels, Labradors and Poodles, but I am ready and able to help regardless of your dog's breed.

After training as a Cert. Separation Anxiety Pro Behaviour Consultant, I now solely work with Separation Anxiety dogs. I am proud to be the only Certified specialist in the Scottish Borders, and one of only a handful of specialists across Scotland. But don't worry - my training packages are entirely remote, so I can help you and your dog no matter where you are based.
